The keypad controller module actually fits inside a standard Honeywell Galaxy keypad module, allowing it to be supplied with just 12V DC.
- A 4 pin connector needs to be wired (soldered) to the 4 pins on the back of the galaxy circuit board.
- The galaxy then only needs DC 12V power and not the normal A/B bus. The operation of the keypad/display is then controlled completely by this board and connected to the rest of the system over WiFi.
- Note that this does not have a USB connection for programming / debug, but has 5 pads for programming using a Tasmotizer board.
