As you know, we rank our VoIP numbers tin, bronze, silver, gold, and so on. This is based on how nice the number is, based on patterns in the number.
The higher rank numbers cost more to set up and more monthly.
Until now tin and bronze numbers have been the same price, billed as bronze on your invoice, currently £1.44/month (inc VAT). Indeed, the difference between these two has been subtle in the patterns we choose (e.g. numbers that would be tin are bronze if they end in 42, because life the universe and everything).
This means you may see numbers change on our control pages from tin to bronze or bronze to tin, but you won't be paying more than before.
Ported in numbers are the same price regardless of how nice they are, which was, and remains, £1.44/month (inc VAT). This is not changing, but the numbers will be listed as bronze not tin now.
From next month (July) we plan to reduce tin numbers to £1.20/month (inc VAT).
Apologies, we had previous planned the price reduction from June not July, but technical difficulties mean that has been delayed. We have adjusted next month's bill to be from a week later to allow for this discrepancy.
Unfortunately (for new orders) our set-up fees are also increasing, for compliance reasons. Sorry.
